Adley Services is a Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) certified business and this month is National Women’s Small Business Month. The WBENC certification authenticates that Adley Services is owned and managed by a woman. What does that mean to me? What does that mean to my employees? What does that mean to our clients? Each of us benefits differently from this. But we are all better because of it. Being a woman in engineering is already a minority and Adley Services being owned and managed by a female engineer sets us even further apart.
As a small business and as a woman-owned business, Adley Services can provide employee benefits that cannot be beat. We can take advantage of opportunities, resources, and engagements established specifically for woman-owned small businesses. We are able to participate in supplier diversity programs that promote relationships with major corporations. We provide flexibility to each employee to promote personal growth and life balance. Each employee shares in our success, by ownership in our culture.
Companies use diverse suppliers for a variety of reasons. Diversity promotes innovation. It allows for multiple sources for goods and services. It drives competition. All of which lead to a better bottom line. Adley Services has been able to compete with national engineering firms on projects for Fortune 500 companies, with contract award success. Our local services are being used nationally where we can bring new ideas to different markets. These companies are supporting local economic growth while benefiting from the personal service and competitive pricing of a small business.
